Epic games version won't go past press any button

So, I've tried everything I was told, waited out without pressing anything, -dx11, -dx12, reinstall, restart, update epic, repair EAC, escape, right click, left click, launch from the folder (gets stuck on the next loading screen, like a painting), absolutely everything and it won't work, funnily enough, the xbox pc gamepass version works fine, but I don't want to have to rely on a subscription I might not keep up.
