does anybody get an adverse reaction to the show?
So I just finished watching Season 3 (after taking over a 1-2 week break after finishing the first 6 episodes) and I was curious if anybody has had some adverse reactions after watching the show. also want to make clear that I really love the show
Obviously there are some scenes that make you cry or make you feel some other type of way, but I just felt physically terrible after six episodes of season 3 and had to stop watching to protect my mental health 😭… the fourth episode particularly had me ugly sobbing, but I don’t know if it’s my relatability to some of the mental health topics, reflecting on my own previous relationships, or just a sadness that I never got to experience love and belonging like that in my younger years (I’m in my mid 20s).
I generally see a lot of people talk about their intense love for the show and wanting to constantly rewatch it, so I just wanted to see if there were others who maybe found it a bit hard to watch despite loving it so much? I think it may just be a recurring thing for me personally with queer film/television, as I felt a bit similar watching CMBYN, but this season just hit so hard.
Any thoughts are welcome!
