Headphone suggestions $500 or less

Hello all, I’m not a huge audiophile however I’m tired of mediocre headphones and would like my first set of decent quality. I currently use soundcore Q30s they’re not terrible for entry level headphones, but they’re not great either. I’ve been eye balling the Bose QuietComfort ultra, the Beat Studio Pros, and the Sony 1000X4&5.

However I’m open to suggestions outside of these brands as well as I know there are other great brands out there.

The main device I use for music currently is an iPhone 15 pro, and I mostly listen to hard rock, metal, country, and some rap though not as much.
