Does Tidal Ring need to be changed?

Okay so in this Haelian Video we find out something about Tidal Ring. Time stamp 2:00-2:30.

We find out that Tidal Ring is just a big wave strike originating from Mel herself.

He was using Glowing Coal and that’s how he discovered it.

While that in and of itself was interesting.

What caught my attention was the comments. And this the idea for this post.

There is a comment chain talking about how they wish that Tidal Ring was different.

In the comment chain they make suggestions like a whorl pool, maybe make it a 360° AOE or at least make it originate from the cast itself.

So I’m wondering people of Reddit.

Do we think Tidal Ring needs to be changed somehow? Or is it fine as is?
