Finally upgrading from free edition and have no clue who to main.

Title. I've been a certified Gran freebie the last several months but am now updating to the full edition soon. The only issue is I have no idea who to main, as there are a ton of characters and they all look equally cool. My mains in other games are Kirby and Sephiroth (Smash bros. Ultimate) and Elphelt and Slayer (Guilty Gear -STRIVE-). Do you have any suggestions as I've been looking up character guides for a while trying to settle on somebody.
