Help!!!

Is there a way to skip over missions? I’m still doing the mystery solving one and it always pops up, but I’m stuck on it and just want it to stop. Or does someone have a play by play of how to complete it? Right now I need to talk to Alicante to find his favorite pizza toppings, but I did that and the guy said how am I supposed to know his favorite toppings?
