Note style

I'm going into my second year of a biochemistry bachelors degree. I was wondering what style of notes everyone finds most useful for a science subject and how everyone lays it out. I also struggle with how long it takes to write out notes.

I've seen a lot of bad comments on here about good notes but I've already bought the subscription, so should I stick with good notes or are there better apps for science based subject revision and note taking?
