Is the Non-Lucrative Visa young age discriminatory?
I heard that they discriminate based off your age (if you're too young) applying for the Spanish NLV. The rationale is if you're working age (20s, 30s) you will be a digital nomad yet not report it.
My question is, being a nearly 30 year old, I plan to deposit $30-40k in my bank and also show proof of stocks and some crypto, would this not be enough?
I already have lived in Spain for over a year now, enrolling in Spanish language schools and now having a C1 level in Spanish. Although I didn't do empadronamiento, I have passport stamps/photos/certificates/other means to prove my stay here. And with the recent law changes, perhaps my better shot would be stay for the 2 year mark, which should be soon for me, and then apply for the arraigo socio/laboral?
I love Spain and plan to stay at least short/medium term, but was looking for advice in the case that despite having the requirements, my NLV would be rejected due to my age.
Thanks guys
