Fan Meets In China

I noticed that every time LingOrm have fan meets in China, they always have separate timings and I assumed this was due to China's strict laws against LGBT content and public promotion.

However, Lookmhee and Sonya (LMSY) recently had a fan meet in Tianjin where they were together.

So what’s the deal? Is it a legal issue, a Channel 3 management decision, or something else? Curious if anyone has more insight.
