Georgie and Mandy Live Studio Audience Update

tl;dr It felt like a 3-hour audience participation comedy show that was frequently and abruptly interrupted to film a 2-minute scene repeatedly. The audience really does laugh out loud at every line. There isn't a sign telling you to laugh but the host does remind you to laugh a lot.
We requested tickets on 1iota.com about 4 weeks in advance. We were notified we had General admission tickets about a week before the show and that entry was not guaranteed. Somewhere along the way we were upgraded to Priority tickets. I'm not sure when that happened because we didn't notice until we arrived.
Most everyone had Priority tickets. I got the impression that priority tickets had a much better chance of getting in and general admission may or may not get in.
Our ticket said we couldn't arrive at the parking garage until 3:30p. We arrived a few minutes before. There were already about 30 people there. One person told us they arrived around 1:30p.
Our tickets also said to wear a jacket because the sound stage would be cold. It was not cold. It was warm and I regretted wearing jeans and did not need the hoodie I brought.
They told us to leave our phones in our cars but about half the people had their phones while we waited. Before we left the parking garage they gave us a chance to run our phones back up to our cars. If you didn't do this your phone went into a Ziploc bag and was locked away before your entered the sound stage.
We left the parking garage at 5pm, walked 1/2 way to the sound stage, waited for a long time, and then went the rest of the way arriving at the sound stage at about 5:30. The sound stage seated about 200.
We took our seats and the host talked for a bit and at 6pm we watched Episode 2 of Georgie and Mandy which had not aired yet. It starred Missy and had several scenes at the cemetery that were a little sad. Good episode though.
After that the stars of the show were introduced including Chuck Lorre. Chuck Lorre stepped out from behind something and was on the far right of the stage which was very dark. You couldn't really see him at all but you did see him walking around later.
Our episode was titled "Diet Crap". It opened in the McAlister's kitchen.
Every scene was filmed twice. Some scenes were filmed more if someone flubbed their lines or they had different variations they wanted to film. One time the scene was refilmed because the audience ooo'd and ahhh'd. They told us not to do that. Just laughter.
All the sets were in a line. The audience seating was in front of the kitchen set and the living room set. George and Mandy's bedroom and the parents bedroom were on the far left and the tire shop was on the far right. There was also a set for a book store called the Medford Book Nook. The Book Nook seemed like a permanent part of the set. It was used in our episode. The librarian from Young Sheldon worked there and was in one of the scenes we saw filmed.
The audience could see the kitchen and living room and part of the Book Nook. If filming happened in a bedroom or the tire shop you couldn't see it. You just had to watch the monitors.
About half the scenes were filmed ahead of time and we just had to watch them on the monitors. This made sense for some of the scenes because they took place in uncommon locations like a doctor's office or a car. But a couple of scenes took place in the kitchen and living room but they were still filmed in advance and we just watched them played back on the monitors.
At about 8pm they told us they were going to feed us pizza. They gave us an 8oz bottle of water and 1 slice of cold cheese pizza. It was easily the worst slice of pizza I ever had. My wife said her jaw hurt from trying to chew it. It was so bad. But I was getting hungry so it was better than nothing.
Once the filming started it was about 3 hours before it finished. I'm guessing about half the episode was filmed ahead of time which means in the 3 hours we were there we saw about 11-minutes of the episode filmed.
The majority of the time was watching the 3-hour audience participation comedy show. It was entertaining but filming obviously took priority so the host would frequently and abruptly stop whatever he was doing so that we could watch them film or watch a pre-recorded scene.
After it was over the stars came back out for a final round of applause. This time the actors who guest starred came out too.
It was a good time and something I wanted to experience but it was long. I'm not sure I'd do it again but if definitely recommend it to others just for the experience.
We also did the Warner Brothers Studio Plus Tour earlier in the day. It was about 4-hours long and was very cool. Highly recommend.
