Is there a downside on skipping the Fontaine questline?

I just finished Sumeru and holy f*** I was exhausted. I am looking forward to play natlan but Fontaine looks so boring. Currently I'm "hunting" for primos since I lost my 50/50 to good old qiqi. I havent played in quiet a while but I'm Ar 55 with barely any damage so yea.

Tl;dr: Is it okay to skip fontaine and how do I farm primos fast in the current state I am
