Use US InReach Plan in Europe to save Money

Hey guys,

I’ve got a question concerning the InReach subscription. Would I be able to get a US subscription, which is 11.95 USD, compared to €14,99 here in Austria and use it exclusively in Europe? I intend to send messages to an Austrian phone number using the US plan.

I just ordered an InReach Mini 2, so I unfortunately cannot test it out myself yet.
