Double action revolver treasure hunt email problem

So one time I received the email for the treasure hunt and I accepted it but shortly after I had to leave the game so the treasure hunt got cancelled, now I don't receive the email again, I tried changing sessions and waiting for over 40mins but still nothing, I contacted rockstar support but they keep changing topics, any ideas?
