Why dump ? Wen pump ?

Most Apes saw yesterday as very positive the GME following MSTR strategy. And yet, the price tanked today.

What might be a reason for that?

MSTR "strategy" is based on a continuous issuing of new shares to buy bitcoin, which results in an increase of the number of bitcoins per share. Once the new capital will dry up, MSTR will collapse. Here is a simple explanation:

Let's say one MSTR share has one bitcoin, but it is priced at 3 bitcoins. Why ? Because as long as the "strategy" works, the share will have 10 bitcoins in it, say in 10 years.

So, one can buy 3 bitcoins today and have 3 bitcoins in 10 years. Or buy a MSTR share now and have 10 bitcoins in 10 years.

As long as the strategy works, it's better to sell bitcoins and buy MSTR. But when the strategy stops working (as any other Ponzi scheme), it will be better to sell MSTR and buy bitcoin, and MSTR price will collapse.

GME will likely follow the same strategy. Who are the most likely to provide the capital in the future? Well, the NAKED SHORTS.

Say, there are still 100 million of naked shorts who couldn't close, in spite of new share offering. Now, they can buy a "convertible bond" for roughly $3 billion, and they will be completely covered. Five years down the road, the naked shorts will vanish (they will be closed by the new shares of the converted bond).

So, the shorts will be off the hook for just 3 billion (a few bucks per share, hardly a problem for them). GME will collect $3 billion without issuing new shares. Win-win.

What are the consequences of this scenario?

The negative, no-Lambo-MOASS. If you still thought that GME will be valued at one Lambo/share, well, it might not happen. (At a Lambo per share, GME would be worth more than the rest of the world combined)

The positive, GME might be worth (relatively soon) of the order of $50-$100 /share. Not for a couple of minutes in the premarket, but as a floor price.

Most speculators (including financial institutions) are leaving today, since it seems to be no MOASS in the near future.

Some HODLERS (myself included) started buying the dip.

Not financial advice, and good luck.
