Too Much Rust?

Got a 2007 G35 Sport Sedan but it spent a good amount of time up north. Mechanically it runs well and the interior and body are mint for the year but the rust underneath looks cause for concern. I was hoping to daily it and slowly turn it into a drift car but wondering if it’s better left alone and not worth the hassle.

I can sell and get into a cleaner low mileage coupe for the same cost, but I’d be losing the HR and going to a revup. Looking for some opinions!
