Does this show go anywhere?

I started watching season 1 recently and I’m wondering if this show is worth the time? Does the plot actually develop and are any of the big mysteries ever unraveled or is this just another Lost?

I was recommended to this show from the Silo sub, but in Silo you at least learn about the silo and the environment that they are in (however slowly). But I keep seeing people that are caught up, multiple seasons in, with theories that could have been developed after the first episode.
