How to improve Kicks

The Problem

A lot of skins currently look very off when wearing Kicks, you can notice some are wearing them on top of their boots, or sometimes they’re wearing 2 pairs of socks.

Why?

This is how kicks work from my current understanding: Epic takes a skin and removes it’s feet/shoe mesh, which is then replaced by the Kicks, and socks are used to bridge the empty space from the Kicks to the character model.

Given this method, shoes like sandals, thongs (flip flops), high heels and crocs aren’t feasible.

The Solution

A lot of remodelling. Epic would have to go back through every skin and model underneath the character’s shoes and detail their feet. This would be a big undertaking.

But put bluntly, if they were able to go through every skin and give them a LEGO style, and they’re also charging 1,000 vbucks for Kicks, I think they can and should do it.

Bonus

I wouldn’t expect this of Epic, but they would gain a lot of respect if they turned existing skin’s shoes into Kicks.

Similar to backblings, pair skins with the shoes they wear as Kicks that you can use on other skins.
