Is it silly to keep dupes of your favorite expensive fragrances?

I've noticed that every time I buy a pricey perfume that I end up loving, I immediately go searching for a dupe of it. The reason is because I don't wanna go through the expensive one so fast. If I have a dupe, I can spray it as much as I want because it was significantly cheaper. The reason why I'm asking if it's silly is because I know that perfume is meant to be worn and enjoyed, but at the same time, it hurts to see a massive dent in the fragrance I had spent a hefty price on. I wish it could just last forever. I'm so torn on this. Does anyone else feel this same conflict?
