Are there any fairytale fantasy books with a male protagonist?

I’m not sure what makes a fantasy book a ‘fairytale’ fantasy book but I have heard books like Uprooted by Naomi Novik and The Winternight Trilogy by Katherine Arden get labelled as such and I have to admit, I get it. I actually haven’t read Uprooted but I know what it’s about. And I have read The Winternight Trilogy which absolutely has the feel of a grand, fleshed out fairytale.

But my question is, are there any such books with that same feel (and labelling) but with a male protagonist? I’d also be open to any fairytale retellings that focus on a male protagonist.
