Has anyone heard of Michael J. Sullivan?

I’m fairly new to reading still. Like everyone I read a bit during school but stopped after and only recently picked it back up.

I was looking for a quick book to read while taking a break from the Fourth Wing series because I got kinda tired of the romance in that series and wanted a fantasy book that didn’t have too much R-rated scenes in it. Ended up finding Theft of Swords on a whim and thought “this looks cool, I’ll give it a shot.” Holy shit this book is really really good.

I’m only on chapter 2 for those who have also read it but I am incredibly hooked on it. I haven’t ever heard of the author before though. I know most others aren’t huge names like Steven King as an example but still I feel like this guy deserves to be with how well his book is written.
