How you doing, fellow authors?

Hi, I go by EisenKoubu. Some people call me Eisen for short. I've been writing fiction since 2013. I was an author on FF.net from 2015 to 2019, after which that account became an archive for my older, cringe fics. I post new stuff on AO3 under the same username.

I don't write for any specific fandom, but the works I do write for are video games and visual novels that inspire me. I tend to write shorter, character-focused pieces because I don't have the time or mental capacity for worldbuilding or epic plots. I'm also not good at writing the funnies. What I am good at is fluff, hurt/comfort and drama, sometimes with romance and action sprinkled in.

I'm currently writing a series based on the Fuga: Melodies of Steel video game series called "Malt Fails to Save the Children," which partly serves as a loose, more depressing retelling of my first playthrough of the second game. It does contain spoilers for the first two games, so proceed with caution if you decide to check it out. I also write original stories and poetry, but they are not published anywhere online.

It's a pleasure to be a part of this subreddit. I hope that you all enjoy my work, whenever life gives me the chance to write and post it. 🙂
