Posting schedule?

I love posting stuff slowly over time, making sure I like what I've written, but a lot of my time is taken up by school, and I won't have a lot of time to write, and I was wondering if releasing on a schedule is something people really care about?

I like when authors do that. When they post every Sunday, but I don't think I'm ever capable of doing that. Is it okay that I don't?
