Fallout 3 mod recommendations for first full playthrough?

Hello,

It's important to note I've played fallout 3 before on the Xbox 360 but never fully. I'm playing through it again on steam deck and just got to megaton. I know the elder scrolls games benefit from community like patches or stuff like SkyUI, but interested to hear the communities input on recommended mods for a mostly vanilla playthrough.
