Salvageable hope for ACH and USD ftxus users
Don't mean to give false hope but from what I've gathered anyone who had pending withdrawals via ACH USD prior to the announcement of the bankruptcy could have their funds received one way or another.
The transfers would have read requested in status of they were never processed on ftx's end so the sending status would indicate that the bank(silvergate perhaps) has the funds being sent to the ACH if not already in transit. However in bankruptcy proceedings all ACH transactions that are pending from the bankruptcy party account get frozen immediately so it is kind of gray.
According to voyager customers who had similar experiences, the funds stuck in sending status either got sent or awarded to the recipients.
In the case of voyager even users who had not initiated a withdrawal prior to the bankruptcy announcement were still awarded their funds that were in USD. This is positive for those who had wire transfers initiated but never processed on ftx's end.
I had an ACH and wire that were sitting for days with the status for the ach as sending and the wire transfer as requested with the option to cancel it indicating the wire transfer was never processed even though it was requested.
I hope this helps the few of us that have a chance at recovering our funds, sorry for the loss for those that are not in this situation and couldn't get their funds out
