Speculating on the Ronnie Paternity Situation (receipts included)
My personal take on the Ronnie Paternity Situation
SS of court record posted. As of today still no record of a paternity case being filed. You cannot have papers to serve someone for a court case that doesn’t exist. The papers would be the summons and complaint which only gets issued when the case gets accepted and a court date is scheduled. Elaborated on in my rundown
So IIRC Ronnie paternity issue bc he said he filed it back in either October or November. Thing is when you file a case electronically/in person it’s publicly accessible as soon as it gets accepted and Ik he came up with some bs excuse as to how/why it wasn’t coming up but it was just like…that’s not how it works. Like at all bc it’s all public information as soon as the case gets filed and accepted (majority of the jurisdictions here its the same or next business day depending on the time it’s filed and if there are no errors on the form).
I wanted to give him the benefit of the doubt that he may have just been misled bc using a disabled, neglected, and abused child for a publicity stunt is just sick but allegedly someone offered to help him file w the court for real and he just no showed. If anyone has info and receipts as to what exactly went down please lmk because I’ve been sick asl and mostly out of the loop lol. If this is fr that’s just despicable.
It’s nothing too extravagant either you just have to create an account with the circuit court and efile the petition. Majority of states have self help forms to correctly fill and format it then once that’s done you just save the pdf, upload it to the case and hit submit so he didn’t even have to physically go to the courthouse. If they live in the same county most states allow you to have the summons and complaint mailed or you have to hire a process server. No, you can’t just show up yelling at them that you’re trying to serve them.
You cannot personally serve the person bc if you can't mail the summons and complaint then you have to hire a process server aka third party. Forms and such have to be filled out/affidavits need to be signed/notarized the person was properly served or attempts were made, that you cannot fill out yourself, so him claiming he was going to the mall to try and serve her w “papers” from a nonexistent court case was giving...yikes. For those that don’t know that would be the summons and complaint which doesn’t get created until the case gets accepted.
If the no showing is fr that means it officially came out that it never got filed like do none of these people have morals? Maybe he didn't think the situation was as bad and just wanted to capitalize off it rq and seeing how bad JR actually is really did make him snap. Bc often times w child abuse/neglect people's perception is it can't be that bad. Then they find out it was even worse than they could've ever imagined. I hate this fr.
