Eye makeup removal- do you do it?

This is going to sound so stupid considering I've been an esthetician for 5 years.... but not once have i taken a clients eyemakeup off. Not in a medspa setting and not in my solo practice. We put gauze over the eyes for extractions and whatnot in school but never with the intention of removing makeup.

Do you guys do it? Do you ask first or just go for it? Do you offer micellar water and cotton rounds? What's the vibe here? Obviously people know they'll leave their facial without makeup but it feels silly to take the time fighting mascara. I'm starting to question everything around this particular topic and it's bothering me 😅 someone send help
