Did an accident lead to this?

TL;DR OP asks if childhood head injury to metal weight contributed to developing myoclonic epilepsy.

I have Myoclonic epilepsy featuring the lovely absent spells of what was marked as "spacing out" and I have a theory of where my epilepsy may have come from; if not just a wildcard from bodily science.

When I was around 3-4, my eldest brother was supposed to watch me while my parents were out. Me being an energetic rugrat I jumped onto his bed a couple of times before flying off and just like the 'monkeys jumping off the bed' nursery rhyme I fell and BONKED my head on an arm metal weight.

The incident left a scar almost an inch long on my forehead (luckily most of it is in my hairline)

Now I've brought this up to my neurologist, and them saying it could be possible and now I want to hear your opinion on this; Do you think this childhood accident had a play in me developing epilepsy?
