Time off work after surgery

How much time were you given by note or recommended for time off after having surgery. He is going in to do a full view and remove any endo he sees and do a D&C hysteroscopy (looking inside the uterus for somethin 🤷🏼‍♀️). He said if it’s on my appendix he will take it out.

Just gauging how much time the doc is likely to give. I am salary so not concerned about being paid or not paid.
