No spare tire?

Just blew my front left tire due to a damn nail in a construction area. Only have 1100 miles on it. Already ordered a replacement Pilot sport 4s from Discount tire but ... I have to get the car towed because there's apparently NO spare tire in the trunk? What in the hell?
