Any early warning signs of impending doom?

My 112k mile 2015 Laramie has been one of the good ones so far. I tuned early and other than a weepy timing cover I have no current issues. I’m starting to realize the time to move on might be soon. My truck is worth about what an engine rebuild would cost. I love the fuel mileage, but I need a more capable truck.

My biggest issue is that there are not any good options right now. I really don’t want a gas’s guzzler nor will I get another diesel. The Ram Charger is very interesting but who knows if or when it will become available nor the real world specs. I don’t really want to through money at a temporary truck nor do I want to end up with a worthless truck that can’t run.
