Not allowing negative feedbacks for buyers is causing major problems

My eBay account is 25 years old. I’ve been on here for a very long time selling and buying. In the first 20 years or so I think I had maybe 3 non payments. I bet 2 of them at least responded and gave a reason why they didn’t want to pay or something.

In the last 2-3 years I get them way too often. I just had one and I’m fed up as a seller I have no way to keep that person from doing it again. They have zero repercussions. You can’t leave a negative feedback. I wish as a buyer when you bid eBay put those funds on a hold so if you won you paid. Sure you can pick buy it now but I try to keep away from that.

Something needs to change. Banning people who non pay non respond for 6 months first time and 1 year after 2nd. No reason someone should not pay and not even respond to messages. They just don’t care and are blowing you off. Because doesn’t effect them. As a seller I go and pull the item out from storage which for me is spending half hour getting it out of a box and finding it then I pack it up and have it ready to ship. It takes at least an hour of my time. It’s not right. Enough! Do something different eBay please!!
