Some better way to refer to something made of steel?

I'm trying to translate something a bit unique from german. It's a character that has the nickname "das stählerne Schwert" which would be directly translated to "the steel sword", now since this character is kind of a really powerful divine like entity I just feel like the direct translation doesn't really have the strength and the weight of the german original. The main problem is that the german "stählern" for "made of steel" is also a quality of something unyielding and powerful, while the translation of just "steel" doesn't really have that extra meaning.

Is there any better way to translate this that you can think of?
