Can a "cheerios" style deck be fun in high power casual?
I am looking to build a [[Flubs, the Fool]] deck and one of the ideas I arrived at that I wanted to build was a "Cheerios" style deck with tons of 0 cost artifacts. It seems super on brand for the theme of Flubs, plays super well with his ability to be able to keep playing cards, and has the potential to be high powered. Some of these cards are useful, like [[Tormods Crypt]] [[Ornithopter]] or even some high powered mana rocks like [[Mox Amber]], some of them not so useful, like [[Accorders Shield]] or [[Darksteel Relic]]. The one thing I am worried about is that: 1) It won't be super fun to play against as it will have little interaction and many of the spells are not very impactful and 2) That it will feel like a one trick pony, where I vomit out my deck of 0 and 1 cost artifacts and then win through [[Underworld Breach]] and [[Brain Freeze]] or something. To be clear, I'm fine with it being a combo deck, I just want to make sure it feels earned, I guess? Idk, maybe I'm overthinking it. I just don't want to have the deck feel like I'm doing absolutely nothing until I combo off.
Basically, I want to make some version of this deck that is actually fun to play, and fun to play against. Has anyone else built a non-cedh Flubs cheerios deck? Right now I'm looking at building it similar to a [[Jhoira, Weatherlight Captain]] cheerios deck, but powered down and with more extra land drop enablers. I've got all of the artifact cost reducers like [[Enthusiastic Mechanaut]] in the list, cards like [[Reckless Fireweaver]] [[Kessig Flamebreather]] or [[Sai, Master Thopterist]] to enable benefits from artifacts, and tons of 0, 1, and 2 drop artifacts. I've also got cards like [[Exploration]] and [[Dryad of the Ilysian Grove]] to get through lands. I've also thought a lot about backing off of the true cheerios style and playing more 1 and 2 drop artifacts that actually feel like they'll make a game impact, especially since with even 1 cost reducer on board I'd be able to chew through these pretty fast.
What do y'all think? Can this style of deck be fun to play against in high power casual? Is it fun to play or is it just boring? Are there changes I should make to the deck building process with Flubs to make him more fun for everyone? Should I just say fuck it and build it as a Valakut landfall deck instead?
Edit Thanks for the feedback everyone! I think I might build Flubs in a more casual way with landfall and topdecking and lean away from cheerios.
