Bad roommate (potentially)

I’m rooming in caneris next year with some of my friends and some new people. However, I have heard, unfortunately, that one of the new folks has a reputation as a /very/ bad roommate. I’m wondering what my options are in the event that this is true- would it be possible to just get them out of the dorm if it was bad enough? Or are we stuck?
