Is growing and selling a whole lot of pumpkins a good way to get star coins?

I was wondering on how to get lots of star coins what I try to do is mine every day and whatever gems I find to save up and sell them to have a lot.

It’s so I can buy things at Scrooges store since I’m Always broke when buying ingredients from Remy or seeds from Goofy 😂
