Crying tears of pure joy because of Blind Barbie fashionista

Hello all! Sorry if this is totally rambly, but I just really need to get this off my chest right now. I was born almost completely blind due to a condition called optic nerve hypoplasia (if you want an explanation of exactly what that is, check out the doll YouTuber Kyla collects because she has my same condition, just with a lot more vision than I have). I have had to walk with a white cane, read braille and do all the other blind junk for my whole life. Collecting dolls has always been my outlet and for as long as I've lived, I've never encountered a doll that represents a blind character (which is really sad because like so many groups get represented by Barbie). So I check my email today and lo and behold Mattel has partnered with the American foundation for the blind to create the first blind Barbie fashionista. I'm probably really late on this update from Mattel, but I'm just so grateful that I too will get to see myself in a doll. I don't know, this just made me so unbelievably happy!
