Doja Cat "Demons" lyric interpretation. The music video is an homage to horror movies, do I really gotta explain that?

A lotta conspiracy theorists and religious wackos are out in full force so here's my 2 cents. The chorus gives the same energy as the line "I'm an industry baby" in Lil Nas X's song "Industry Baby." It's a call out, a "thumbing of the nose," to all the people saying "Doja is full of demons please pray for her" "she sold her soul" "she said she wanted out so they put a demon in her to control her." smooth-brained takes. Doja asks "How my demons look now that my pocket's full?" while dressed as an iced-out sleep paralysis demon. If you have 0 media literacy, it's her promoting demon worship or whatever and not what I just said. The 1st verse is mostly boasting about her wealth, a few disses, and stuff but she does say "You live like me in your dreams" as in "you hate me cuz you're envious stop pretending you're justified." "I'm a puppet, I'm a sheep, I'm a cash cow." The 3 opinions people come to about Doja; she's a puppet controlled by demons or her label; she's just following trends or being led around; or she's just an empty pop star meant to make money. Doja's famous for "Say So," the song her label made her sing EVERYWHERE(the video of her dancing to it while rolling her eyes, anyone?) but she also made "Bottom B" Cyber Sex", "Nintendhoe" and "Tia Tamera." If you only know the radio hits, you're gonna be thrown for a loop listening to her other stuff.
