Please stop engaging with troll posts in this sub

Troll posts are discussions created to be intentionally inflammatory. The goal is to rile people up and receive many negative comments. Please do not engage with these kinds of posts in this sub, the users posting them are not actually interested in having discussions about what they are posting. They just want to piss people off. The worst thing you can do to a troll is ignore them. Do not engage, just downvote the thread and move on. Thank you.

This does not mean that users of this sub should be discouraged from making posts about harder topics. The purpose of this post is to advise serious members of this sub that there are some people here that are not interested in having genuine authentic discussion which is the purpose of this sub. That doesn’t mean we can’t have discussions about harder topics, it means when those specific people bring up discussions about those hard topics, they are not doing so with the intention of having discussions. It is unwise to engage with those people in particular.
