There’s a lot of backlash going on for Gabe Hicks also know. As Game James Games. Like all their work is being piled in and they are being erased from the TTRPG community. They obviously cheated on a number of people. They admitted that themselves and took ownership. They even apologized (sincere or not). And now everything they’ve done or were scheduled to do is being re-recorded or contacts and partnerships just ended. I get they hurt people. I get they lied. The current batch of relationship nonsense seems to go back to Gen Con 2023 which was about seven months ago. You don’t get bad at being polyamorous overnight so clearly they’ve been shitty at communication in relationships for a while. My question is how does being very bad at being polyamorous equate to complete erasure of a black creator in the TTRPG space? From the amount of hate, broken partnerships, backlash, and cancelation you’d think they did something horrible! There are NO rape, murder or pedophile allegations. Just really bad at relationships and a lot of talking shit about people they work with. Like it’s bad behavior but their entire career has effectively been ended because they suck at being polyamorous and are a serial cheater. Not saying it’s not bad, not saying people weren’t hurt. But if a more famous creator cheated on a bunch of partners and said bad shit to cover their ass would their entire career be over?
