Is using another artists art pose as a reference copying?

Okay so I have been wondering this for a while is it okay to use another artists pose that they drew as a reference and then make it your own by adding your own details to it? Would it be considered copying ? And could you say that it’s your art or would you have to say it’s your art but you used a reference drawing for the pose? Thanks!
