I’m probably not the first person to think this, but does anyone else think that the 4 desperate housewives and 4 liars have similarities?

Bree is Spencer: they are both very knowledgeable and involved. At the beginning of the series, Bree is shown as a perfect housewife with a pretty high ego (I think). Bree/Spencer both had trouble with abuse. Throughout the series we see her morph into a strong and less perfect.

Gabby - Hannah: they both have stylish fashion and a quirky mindset that’s not always the smartest, but can be the funniest. Hannah used to get bullied a lot for looks, and Gabby looks got a bad person’s attention and people unbelieving of her.

Susan - Emily: both characters are very emotional. Sometimes if Susan/Emily think they are doing something right, it can end up infuriating to watch (at least for me).

Lynette - Aria: one thing that these two have in common is their love for family. This pairing is more of a stretch because I couldn’t really think of anything that paired them minus them being the last two.

These are totally my opinions and not a statement and would like to know other people’s thoughts on this.
