Lore question

I've recently redownloaded DRG and while playing have heard dwarves say "die like your mother did" or something along the lines of that. The only reason I'm asking this is that I'm curious about how the aliens are born. There are the eggs you collect and then the giant sac thing that spawns the hatchlings so I was just wondering if the dwarves killed a queen or something
