Edible food-grade alcohol for perfumes?
Hello everyone, I want to make my own perfume using popular ingredients like ISO E Super and Ambroxan. I don’t live in the US, and my local pharmacy doesn’t sell cosmetics-grade alcohol. However, they do sell edible, food-grade alcohol, which is safe to drink and is often used in patisserie or for making cakes.
It’s 96% alcohol, and I’m wondering if I can use this instead of cosmetics-grade alcohol, as I can’t find it locally or online. I’d love to know the difference between the two types of alcohol. Can someone please enlighten me? I’d be very grateful for your help!
