Advice on an administrative close case

So, I went and did AP and now I'm waiting for for a judge in Chicago to reopen my case and completely close it. I've been waiting to hear since early June but nothing. My lawyer says it's a waiting game but I have to be able to do something.

I was really hoping to be further along at this point.
