I feel like a fraud, thinking of leaving current company

I’ve been in CS for close to 4 years at the same company. My first 2.5 years I had a high volume of accounts and acted more as a renewals specialist than a CSM.

This past year with team changes, I have been consistently getting a smaller book of business. We have now moved to a mid-market flow, I still have over 280 accounts. Expectations have changed for CSMs on my team and I feel like I’m struggling to keep up.

Previous role did not require much product knowledge as we were not expected to be prescriptive with our offerings. Just get those renewals locked in as fast as possible!

We made this change while launching a HUGE price increase, new products, and new internal systems. So I am trying to learn all this while learning how to be a CSM lol

Different teams have “trained” us on new product features and internal tools, but it’s so chaotic with our daily to dos that only 20% sticks. IF THAT!

I also struggle with connecting to the product. Mainly with what key things to look for when speaking with a customer or what ask to get the expansion or upsell. Maybe this role at this company is not right for me.

Has anyone else felt similar?
