Crystal Mountain - What Happened?

I was just at Crystal Mountain yesterday, watching two people stare sadly at an empty ski rack where they left their skis to grab a $20 beer, and I had to wonder: What the hell is going on? It feels like everything that could go wrong is, and this year it’s worse than ever. Let’s break it down: • Lift ticket prices are through the roof • You have to reserve and pay to park (because apparently, we’re all part-time valet drivers now) • 3+ hour waits to get into the parking lot because of the reservation system (unless you want to leave at 4 AM, of course) • And then, just to top it off, get your skis stolen after one run of the Cascade Concrete Special. Like, how? I get it—I’m venting. But seriously, what happened to this place? It used to be a fun getaway, but now it feels like an overpriced stress test for your patience. Hallelujah! Holy shit! Where’s the Tylenol?
