Should We Be Concerning About Joint on Our Furniture?

My wife and I just purchased the Universal Broadmoore Powell Dresser (item number 1812410) in store for $699.99. Overall, we like the color and style of the dresser and the features it has. That said, we are disappointed that ours has a finger joint right in the middle of the top trim and that it is quite noticeable due to the missing stain. Is this something we are just overreacting to, or worth looking to exchange / repair through the store?
