Which states would you consolidate?

Saw a question the other day, should Greenland become a state, 51 would mess the flag up too much, leaving us only with the option of consolidating 2 state.

I propose we take over Rhode Island, which would give us full control over our side of Long Island Sound. Then , while the focus is on the conflict in RI, we take back the notch.
