Less aim assist on PS5 edge when OC’d

Hey guys, I know this might be a complete placebo, but I just can’t seem to wrap my head around my ps5 dual sense edge overclocked to 8k. It feels like my aim assist is weaker due to how raw the input feels and when I did some research I saw someone else on reddit saying the same thing and now I’m in a loop on constantly switching between 1000-8000 hz like a lunatic. Does anyone else that plays comp daily agree with me on this aim assist difference or do I just need to get out of my own head. I’ve also tried 2000hz and it seemed to give the same input delay as 8 on DS4, so I’m just curious what everyone runs on there overclock, thanks!!
