City of Brooklyn Residents?

I don’t see much on here about Brooklyn itself, mostly Old Brooklyn related posts. The city itself seems like a pleasant 4 sq. miles. Any current residents or frequent visitors willing to share their experience there? Daily life, schools, parks? I recently visited the new library, it was honestly incredible and the fireplace made it feel cozy.
